The session will be presented by Ruth Serlin. The session is titled “Management of emotions in veterinary euthanasia consults”
This is from a small set of 5 of veterinary euthanasia consults. The decision to out the dog to sleep has already been made and the vet visits the house to carry out the task. My interest is in how the vet and clients work together to manage the emotions involved in this quite specific and stressful institutionalised task.
