Session details:
Bedside rounds (as opposed to conversations without the patients) are proposed as a method to promote
patient-centered care in many specialties, including palliative care. They are an occasion for decision
making among clinicians, but also an opportunity to do so by involving the patient. Nevertheless,
empirical evidence is missing about how patient participation during bedside rounds is achieved. The
data are in French. The transcript is in French, with a translation to English.
