Session details: In this session we will explore how numbers are managed in a conflictual interaction between journalists and a politician. We are focusing specifically on how first actions and responses do either generalization or specification, or shift between scalar and absolute number references, and what these slippages achieve in loading (or unloading) the political inferences of a hard news interview question
