Blurb: In this session we will be presenting a call made to the New Zealand Police which they classified as family harm. We are exploring the systematic patterns of how the reason for calling is formulated, using word selection as a domain of organisation. Our interest is in the sense-making machinery of relationship categories and how violence is normatively gendered.
