Session details: In this session we will look at data from a corpus of everyday interactions from a UK preschool setting. The focus for analysis is on interactions involving some kind of disagreement, complaint or transgression between two or more children. I am interested in exploring the different types of intervention adults use and how these interventions might shape or teach conflict resolution skills, notions of consent and considerations of fairness.
