Session details: GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) for weight loss have received much public and clinical attention in the last couple of years. In this data session, we will look at a recording of a consultation between a dietitian and a participant in a weight management programme. In the excerpt, they discuss the possible initiation of medication after the participant has gained weight. The excerpt is part of a larger collection exploring how dietitians and participants co-construct the role of medications in managing obesity, specifically focusing on moments of initiation during the first phase of the intervention. The data is in Danish, with English translations provided.
