Data session: 13th December, Taeyoung Kim, Revisiting media events: A case study of Royal Vox Pops

Session details: We will use media clips of ‘vox pops’ involving journalists and members of the public to examine the construction of national identity through media representations of apparently ‘ordinary’ acts of collective mourning or celebration, specifically the late Queen’s Jubilee, her State Funeral, and the Coronation of King Charles III.
