Session details: Content warning: discussions about suicidal ideation and intent
The data are taken from a video series called Talking About Mental Health, created by the UK charity Mind. This conversation is between four people who are talking about their own experiences with suicidality, and the struggles they have faced coming to terms with their own, and other people’s feelings, about their mental health. I am interested in how difficult topics, and difficult feelings are topicalised and framed, and how participants show alignment and affiliation.
