Session details:
Children living in home environments where there is violence and abuse may call the police to seek help for themselves and others. In this data session we explore a call made by a child to the police, reporting violence between their parent and their parent’s partner. The data for this session is taken from a corpus of calls where callers are reporting domestic violence and abuse to the police on emergency and non-emergency lines.
