(NB: we are now collecting some basic information on who comes to DARG)

Session details: This session draws on video-recorded data from high-fidelity in situ simulations of endoscopy procedures. We examine contrasting cases of endoscopy teams performing the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist, focusing on how question design can either inhibit or sustain patient safety. In particular, we explore the consequence of question design in enabling clinicians to solicit medically accurate —rather than interactionally preferred—responses is critical to accomplishing the institutional business at hand.

Transcript on request.
