Session details: In this session, we would like to consider a few cases from a collection of openings of BBC ‘Voxpops’ in which members of the public are being interviewed about events following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in the UK. We are very interested in how opening questions position the interviewees relative to public events, and how the interviewees respond.
