Data Session: 2nd July 2025, Katie Jordin: “It’s okay”: Dealing with emotional expression in a UK preschool setting

Session details: The data in this session are from a UK preschool setting involving children’s emotion responses or upset. I’m really interested in looking at how these emotion responses are dealt with by their adult caregivers, and also other children. The validation (or not!) of emotion states and emotion displays in boys is also something I am particularly focused on.
