Zoom registration link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMpcOqgrjgiHtTW1buxXxCdo2SK5iFfK3iV
(NB: we are now collecting some basic information on who comes to DARG)

Session details: The collection consists of 11 video-recorded conversations between parents of young children and a doctor talking about childhood vaccination. Data is in Dutch and was collected at an anthroposophical Well-Child Clinic in the Netherlands. These specialized clinics take a holistic approach to health and vaccination and are therefore typically visited by vaccine-hesitant parents. In the selected fragments, the doctor discussed the risks of various vaccine-preventable diseases and helps parents with assessing the risk factors of their unique situation. The analytic focus will be on the doctor’s questions to tailor risk assessments towards the parents’ individual situations (e.g., “Do you have a dog?”). What are the functions of such prompts relative to similar risk assessments lacking those prompts?

Transcript on request.
